Privacy Policy — Morrow

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Who we are

Morrow is made by Vadim Marchenko, an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia (identification number 302328773), Mikheil Tsinamdzgvrishvili St 52, Tbilisi 0102, Georgia — “we” in this policy. We decide what happens to the personal data described here, which makes us its controller. Write to us about anything in it at hawl.digital@gmail.com.

Morrow is a wellness app for self-reflection: you talk through the morning, it suggests three small things for the day, and you look back in the evening. This policy is shown in the app under Settings → Privacy; if a published copy ever differs, the version in the app is the current one.

What stays on your device

Morrow has no account and asks for no sign-up. Your moods and their tags, focus areas, tasks and their notes, the day’s intention, the evening’s summary, your long-term goal and your onboarding answers are stored only on your iPhone, in the app’s own storage. We have no copy on a server, we cannot see this data, and we cannot recover it for you. Morrow does not sync it anywhere; it is included in your iPhone’s own backup if you use one.

The check for signs of crisis in what you type runs on your iPhone, before anything is sent.

What leaves your device, and why

Only what the AI needs to answer you, and only when you use the morning and evening check-ins and the daily task pick:

Your long-term goal, your onboarding answers and your Apple Health data are not sent.

The data travels over an encrypted connection to a relay we operate, which holds our AI key and forwards the request to our AI provider. The relay does not store the content of requests.

Who processes it for us

Apple sells and manages the subscription and, if you allow it, provides Apple Health data on your iPhone; Apple does this on its own account, under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your data, do not share it for advertising, and do not disclose it to anyone else unless the law requires us to.

Transfers outside your country

Anthropic and Vercel process data in the United States. Both provide data processing terms that include the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, which oblige them to protect the data to a standard equivalent to that required in the EU and in Georgia.

Apple Health

If you allow it, Morrow reads sleep, steps, active energy, mindful minutes and time in daylight from Apple Health, to show them next to your days in Insights. It only reads and never writes to Health. This data stays on your iPhone: it is not sent to the relay or to the AI provider, not used for advertising or marketing, not sold, and not stored in iCloud by Morrow. You can turn access off at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

Dictation

In the check-in chat you can answer by voice instead of typing. If you use it, Morrow asks for access to the microphone and to speech recognition. Your speech is turned into text on your iPhone by Apple’s speech recognition running on the device: the audio is not recorded, not stored, and not sent to us, to the relay or to the AI provider. Only the text that appears in the message field is used, and only after you send it, exactly like typed text. You can turn access off at any time in iOS Settings → Morrow.

What we don’t collect

No account, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no tracking across apps or websites, and no third-party SDKs. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location or photos, and we do not build a profile of you. Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone; no notification server is involved. If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you.

Why we may process it

We process data to provide the service you asked for — the performance of our agreement with you. What you tell Morrow about your mood and wellbeing can count as data concerning health, which the law protects more strongly; for that data our basis is your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by no longer using the check-ins and by deleting the app; withdrawing does not make earlier processing unlawful. The relay’s short-lived technical logs rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working.

The AI suggests tasks and writes replies, but it takes no decision about you that has legal or similarly significant effects.

How long it is kept

Subscriptions

Morrow is a paid subscription sold by Apple. Apple processes every purchase and we never see your payment details. On your iPhone, the app learns from Apple only whether a subscription is active and when its current period ends. Apple’s own privacy policy covers what Apple does with the transaction.

Children

Morrow is not for children. It is meant for people aged 16 and over, and we do not knowingly process data about anyone younger. If you believe a child has been using the app, write to us and we will help remove what is there.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection and, in the EEA and the UK, the GDPR — you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent.

Your entries are only on your iPhone, so you control them directly: deleting an entry or the app deletes them, and we hold no copy to hand over or erase. For anything else, write to hawl.digital@gmail.com; we answer within one month.

You can also complain to a data protection authority — in Georgia, the Personal Data Protection Service; in the EEA or the UK, the authority where you live or work.

Security

Data sent to the relay and to the AI provider is encrypted in transit. On your iPhone it is protected by iOS data protection. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data happens, we will inform you and the authorities where the law requires it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. When a change matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
